- DeepBlocker now comes as two packages. This is the Manifest V2 package, for browsers that still run Manifest V2 extensions, such as Microsoft Edge today. Google Chrome no longer runs them.
- About shows which package is installed, next to the version.
- A Manifest V3 package for current Chromium browsers is in development. It is not released yet.
- No changes to blocking, the filter lists or the protection modes: filtering is the same as in 1.4.5.

Changelog
Minimal protection. Maximum focus.- About now links to Legal & licenses: the copyright and licence notices for DeepBlocker, the project it is built on and the libraries it bundles, and the authors of every filter list, including the ones shown under DeepBlocker names.
- Filter lists written by others keep their authors’ names: the AdGuard and EasyList cookie-notice groups and the official Polish list no longer appear under the DeepBlocker name.
- Settings no longer draws an empty outline next to “Protection mode” when there is no status to show.
- Unused styles and one unused internal page removed.
- No changes to blocking, the filter lists or the protection modes.
- A cleaner, more consistent interface across the popup, dashboard, welcome, blocked and click-to-load pages.
- Popup: the power button works from the keyboard. On pages DeepBlocker does not filter, such as the new tab page, it now says “Not active here” instead of showing an internal page name, and pressing it no longer changes your trusted sites.
- Settings: on/off switches, a clear note when your filter lists match no protection mode, and a message if a mode cannot be applied.
- Filter lists and Diagnostics: an easier-to-read summary, list counts that match each other, no warning on a healthy installation, and layouts that fit narrow windows.
- Blocked page: a calmer design with Go back as the main action, and the blocking filter shown at once.
- Keyboard focus is visible on every control, and scrollbars stay dark under a light system theme.
- Fixed a rare case where, after the browser restarted, some site rules could stop matching or filtering could stall.
- No changes to the filter lists or the protection modes.
- Protection against pages that try to slip a harmful command onto your clipboard, such as fake “verify you are human” prompts, now works: the copy is stopped and a warning shows the command.
- Pages on a shared hosting domain, or on localhost, no longer sometimes treat separate sites hosted under that domain as the same site, which could let third-party filters miss them.
- Filters that apply only on certain pages of a site now follow web apps that change the address without reloading.
- Malformed filter rules with an unfinished site pattern are rejected instead of being applied in a garbled form.
- No interface or branding changes.
- Fixed a site-wide header exception silently switching off the security-policy protection that other filters add to pages.
- Page scripts that filters restrict to part of a site, or to frames embedded by a specific site, now run on the right page or frame instead of on whichever one was opened first.
- Filter lists are rebuilt once after updating. No interface or branding changes.
- A filter list is no longer replaced when its server answers with an error message instead of the list, so protection is kept until a valid update arrives.
- Fixed a request occasionally being matched against outdated filter data immediately after filter lists were reloaded, which could let tracking parameters through.
- Fixed the support page failing to finish loading, which left its buttons unresponsive.
- Reliability release. No interface or branding changes.
- Fixed the popup shaking or flickering when opened from the toolbar.
- Hardened filter compilation so an exception rule that excludes a site can no longer be turned into an active rule.
- Stability and correctness release. No interface or branding changes.
